Strength – RX = Deadlift 1RM (work up to a heavy single – set a new 1 rep PR today)

WOD – Buy-In will always start AS A GROUP at the scheduled times. Don’t get ahead of the group. If you are LATE please wait until the next WOD starts.

WOD – 5 Minute Strategic Deadlift. Challenge yourself! Rest 2 Minutes – then 5 Minute AMRAP: 2 Box Jumps (24/20) +  4 Push-ups (HR)

There is no almost RX. It’s 100% RX’d or Scaled. Don’t let your pride get in front of your strength / fitness level.

August Challenge – Big Congrats to Jonathan and Charlotte for completing the August Challenge. These two saw the challenge, accepted and completed it. They didn’t try to determine whether it would be easy or not – instead they jumped on it and worked at it each day until they completed it. Great job!

September Challenge – Thruster Challenge / Day 1 = 2 Thrusters, Day 2 = 4 Thrusters, Day 3 = 6 Thrusters, etc. add + 2 Thrusters each day until the last day of September. You can make up days missed. Example – Miss Monday and Tuesday…on Wednesday complete the following – 2 for Monday, 4 for Tuesday, + 6 for Wednesday so you would complete 12 total to catch up. Load = 95/65 pounds. All thrusters must be completed before of after WOD at CF864 and all thrusters must be completed using full ROM (below parallel and full extension overhead) To complete the challenge you must include the following: In order to successfully complete the challenge you must include (1) 24 hour media fast. You will select any day during September and the times will be decided by you. Example – Saturday 8:00a.m. – Sunday 8:00a.m. / Friday 5:00p.m. – Saturday 5:00p.m. etc. No Cell phone, TV, Radio (home or car), Internet, etc. Totally unplugged for 24 straight hours. Sign up today if you are in.
