WOD – “Sham” 7 rounds for time of: 11 body-weight deadlifts. 100-meter sprint
DL Movement Standard = No Bounce. No dropping bar from lockout/top of rep. Full ROM. Goal = RX Load (don’t scale weight just to make it easy. Push yourself!) Sprint = 100% Not a jog!
Air Force Staff Sgt. David “Sham” Wieger, 28, of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, a special agent for the Air Force of Special Investigations, Detachment 303, Travis Air Force Base, California, died Nov. 1, 2007, near Balad Air Base, Iraq, of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device that struck his vehicle. Wieger is survived by his parents, Michael and Loreene; brother, Michael; sister-in-law, Brenda; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
June Challenge – Lunge Challenge = Must complete 1.5 mile (2,400 meters) of lunges during the month of June. You can do them anywhere (home, work, church, grocery store, etc.) Post your progress / daily distance / accumulated distance with your name on whiteboard.
Definition of Challenge: Demanding, testing one’s abilities, skills or resources. A call to fight, as a battle.
Entitlement is a delusion built on self-centeredness and laziness. Nobody ever said that life was fair. Deal with it! Don’t compare your life to other peoples life. Live your own.
Successful people have a sense of gratitude. Unsuccessful people have a sense of entitlement.
