On this day in history – October 26, 1881 – The “Gunfight at the OK Corral” took place in Tombstone, AZ. The fight was between Wyatt Earp, his two brothers and Doc Holiday and the Ike Clanton Gang.

Taking on too much of other people’s drama is just a poor excuse for not taking ownership and control over your own life.

If you take everything personally, you’ll remain offended for the rest of your life. What other people do is often because of them, not you.

The enemy (Satan) isn’t after your business. He isn’t after your family, neither is he after any physical thing you own. Satan is after your Soul. He knows that you came from your mother’s womb naked, and you will leave the same. Therefore what matters most to him is your soul. When your days on earth are over, and your soul leaves the body, where would your soul be? Would it be in eternity with God, or Satan?

“Coffland”

Hang from a pull-up bar for 6 minutes
Each time you drop from the bar, perform:
800-m run
30 push-ups

Must keep both hands on the bar at all times. Movement standards/details covered before the workout starts.

U.S. Army Spc. Christopher J. Coffland, 43, of Baltimore, Maryland, died in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. Coffland, who joined the Army a month before reaching the enlistment age limit of 42, was assigned to the 323rd Military Intelligence Battalion at Fort Meade, Maryland. He was deployed to Afghanistan two weeks prior to his death.

Coffland was a CrossFit athlete who was known to have demolished the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test, which features push-ups, sit-ups and a 2-mile run. He was particularly fond of long workouts, heavy lifts, distance sprints, push-ups and sit-ups.

Coffland is survived by his parents, David and Toni; his sisters, Lynn, Karen and Laurie; his brother, David; and many other friends and family members.
